The exhibition "Hinz & Kunst" can be visited until August 22 at Ulrike E Sticher's Kunstraum Backstube in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. On display is a small but exquisite exhibition of diverse artworks, including ceramic and glass objects by Hanneke van Oostrum, a film by Miguel Parada, installations by Sehriban Köksel Kurt, watercolors by Divya Pilla, cyanotypes by Cordula Hilgert, acrylic paintings by Munevera Kulin, an earth painting by Norbert Denzel, and a painting and an installation by Ulrike E Sticher.

The longing for an ideal world moves people, especially in times of personal and social shocks and challenges. On September 15, 2023 at 7 p.m., the exhibition on the topic "Longing - ideal world" will open in the Kunstraum Backstube. As part of the vernissage, the artists introduce themselves to one another and take the audience into the creation of the individual works. Ulrike E Sticher will paint live and show part I of her performance "Desire - perfect world".

“Der Klang von Farben" (The Sound of Colors) is an exhibition of object images and a room-filling, walk-in installation by the artist Ulrike E Sticher, which enter into a dialogue in the invisible space with sounds composed by the musician Manuel Steinhoff. The exhibition can still be seen until November 24, 2021. Guided by questions like “How does a color sound?” “What sound could it have?” Manuel Steinhoff and Ulrike E Sticher set out to sound out three colors and find the appropriate sounds. The exhibition takes visitors into a unique color and sound experience for seeing and hearing.

The "Artists Night" organized by "K im Fluss" has been taking place in the Orangery Darmstadt since 2014. The exhibition "Vielfalt im Quadrat – Vielfalt im Miteinander" (Diversity in a Square – Diversity in Togetherness) provides an insight into the highlights of previous events, into the joint creation of art and the solidarity between artists. The artists involved come from Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg and Cyprus. The exhibition shows, on one hand, the diversity of the participants in their expression and level of development as artists and, on the other hand, how collaboration can be possible in this diversity and can lead to great results.
